All nice cars..... but Americans prefer to build our own 'fast cars' instead of take the lazy way out and buy an off the shelf product. I'd check your 15 year comment, too. I'm pretty sure the US had the S7 in there ;)

Well put.:D

lol, make a more fun car to drive than a s14a 200sx... go on try! n no addin parts to one doesn't count!

I think more japanese people are building their cars to be fast and reliable at the same time, not saying americans dont but i fell like more japanese people do it or more people work on imports

sweet, but i swear the word used was made... not modified... that is lush as! after the s14a i'm after a late 80s 911 soon as i can get insured on one!

when you're ready shoot me an email, i have good resources for leads on solid 911's.....
and insurance may not be as bad as you think, just stay away from the turbo's (930) as insurance for those if your under 28 is usualy more than the car :D

with state farm i pay about $450/year full coverage with it as my second car.

S15 Spec-R or S13 180SX Type X :D

S14's are fat and ugly IMO, worst of the silvia's.

Bell - I don't think that car would be more 'fun' than a 200SX, I'd be more worried about damaging it at the track, and the rear-engine layout isn't so good for tail-out action [which is always fun!].

DANG IT, i typed that wrong, its a 400 Pontiac Big Block, its not the stock, but we have the stock in the garage stored up, in a couple years me and my dad are going to rebuild it maybe, and sell the car and original engine.

What do you want to know zoo diver?

actually that's exactly why the 911 IS so fun at the track.........
and damage it? the 911 is built and designed for track use, the 200sx was designed to get groceries :D

unless you're talking about drifting......which is just a waste of tires and is the slower way around the track :D

First I agree with ZooDivers comment. I couldn't think of a good way to put it but he's right.

And yeah there are people over here that are hugely into imports and all different levels of modifications with them but way before you had imports you had people building their cars from the ground up. It's kinda the basis for hot rodding.
