yea a car thread :D

here's 85' carrera......3.2 flat six, about 240hp/220tq, will still do every bit of 160mph.....not bad for being 22 years old :D

i do every bit of work on it myself, i've already had the engine out for some top end work, rebuilt the tranny, interior, seuspension....everything....
it's was T-boned at 40mph by a ford probe a few years back, that one hurt.....i'll see if i can find a pic of that :D

at nelsons ledges road course a few weekends ago......taped up to keep my euro headlamp housing from getting damaged, i run 100watt low/130watt high beams, with the euro lenses it's better than hid's....

It should be next to the quote button at the bottom of the thread but you can't do it after somebody posts after you

i'm currently talking to a guy about the possiblity of importing myself a 1993 silvia S14-real s14, right hand driver and all. i've been off the track for awhile after selling the supra, so this 450 hp helper can help me get back. if any of you are experienced in importing cars, does $6000 sound about right for the shipping in and legalizing of it? not includeing the car of course, it's ethier this or a cheap r32 skyline, not even gt-r, probably gts. i want something imported anyways, screw these left hand driver seat cars.

Doesn't matter where it's from in japan.. Honestly RHD cars in the u.s. are a PITA.. tolls/drive-throughs/etc all make it a pain.. Don't forget you have to change the spedo for inspection as rhd cars read in KMH not MPH. And while the LHD/RHD instrument cluster might be the same, on some cars they're different so don't plan on just switching them unless you're sure it'll work.

Rather than waste your money you'd be better off buying one here and putting that 6k into the car rather than blowing it. SR20DET front clips are dirt cheap(at least if you're spending the kind of money you're talking about) My .02

xxblown408: Nice stangs. Interesting manifold on that one. Why does it lead into the firewall? I assume piping is re-routed through there for a aftercooler?

that sounds badass xr..
