I'm thinking about getting one of these and was wondering if anyone had some good pics of them. I've heard they're gentle giants, which is why i want one.

Very peculiar fish . Mines is a little beat up, got him out of a tank at the LFS with a few other fish much larger than him.

Got him home and he's much more comfortable. I'm going to wait until he's all healed up before I take any pictures. He spends most of his time looking up towards the top of the tank and running when he wanders into the Datnoids Territory .

very much gentle giants from my experience, had one that would be thrashed by a much smaller Ctenopoma it was housed with temporarily

Itchy your's has some NICE color i love it.

Johnclark definitely can see why they're called chocolate's, beatiful brown color.
