I'm glad my latest pickup was a 9 or 10" ornate, drove the 2hours home and ate massivore the next day :) (not sure why picture is so massive lol)

mine like to float around at the top of the tank a lot. 17 and 15 inches

I'm not exactly sure. I think 8-10 years. I don't remember when I got her. She was already mostly grown then. I got her to join my 2ft male. I grew the male from 2" to 2ft in about 6 years. Wish I never sold them off.

ive grown mine from about 6 inches to their existing length in about 4 years. i really hope mine achieve 24 inches.

What is their existing length?

Here is my ornate and del the del is about 8" he slowed down a lot to give you an idea when I put the ornate in the tank I was worried he was probably going to eat him at 3-3.5"
