Just curious... at what point do you feel that overstocked becomes cruel?

(this is not an insult to any of your photos, just curious what defines peoples limits)

not a tank...but definitely OVER STOCKED :nilly:
My bichirs and livingstonni would love it if I dumped that in their tank....

ah well here are a couple of my overstocked tanks

1.I was at the petstore getting some feeders and what do I see in their feeder tank but the nicest looking calico comet goldfish. So I spent a good hour netting out every single one they had in their 160g feeder tank, took some minnows as well and now I have a 65g way overstocked tank. Though I had to move my 2 ornate dwarf and 1 gaucho dwarf snakeheads there to keep them from getting eaten by my new lungfish. And the baby arowana I bought my daughter is in there as well.

2. My 180g geo tank is way overstocked now, for the same reason as above I am moving the lungfish to my home tank and so had to move all the africans I just rescued from another guys tank as he was shutting down to the 180, and I had to move the 3 iri sharks to the 180 as well since my pacus for some reason have a taste for shark fins. I recon that there are over 100 fish in there right now but I will have another 180g set up by next friday so I can thin it out a bit.

I think my tank will be fine until mid-late sub-adult stage for everyone...
75Gallons
7" Senegal bichir
5" Ornate bichir
5" Jardini arowana
5" Florida gar
6" Lima shovelnose...:ROFL:almost forgot about him, but i bet almost everyone would when they at this size!!:grinno:

I think im the most crowded. I have 3 convicts, 3 black belts, 1 jaguar, 1 dovii, 3 pictus cats, and 2 jack dempsey and this is only in a 30 gallon. But they will be moving to a 55 tomorrow.
