I have a flowerhorn in a 36x18x24, it is only 2.5-3 inches know so it is not curently overstocked.

most fish are juvies so not overstocked yet, I will be spreading these guys out in other tanks so it is not badly overstocked...
1 seganal birchir

I think my tank may be overstocked, not sure. (I will upgrade, they are all small right now.)

36" 30 gallon tank, fluval 404 and AC 50

10 neon tetras
2 angelfish
1 baby Iridescent Shark
2 baby Bristlenose
coming this weekend
8 Emperor tetras
and possibly an L200.

Too much?

Those neons are gonna disappear soon, lol. Looks very nice though. I've kept way more overstocked tanks and I don't think that yours is overstocked at all for now but that IR shark is going to be needing a 300+ gallon tank in the future. You do realize that they can get huge right?

Yes I know they get huge. Long storey behind that one, but it boils down to my son LOVES sharks, and got a gift of a shark like fish (actually 2, the other one killed itself running into the tank wall soon after they went into the tank). So I am really hoping this might turn into one of the ones that doesn't grow very big, but I know that is unlikely. I will probably have to rehome it before it gets too big, as I don't think I will ever upgrage to something that big.

I do water changes on it twice a week, I don't like seeing poop on my light coloured sand. So hopefully that will keep them all healthy. :)

you should return that ID shark. its a huge catfish. a redtail shark would be more suitable.

A red tailed shark would probably nip my angels and bully everything else. I've had them before, they aren't that great in a community in my opinion. I've even had one stay with some larger African chichlids and it was king of the tank. I will rehome it when it starts to grow, it is tiny right now. I can't return it to the store at this point, I didn't buy it as it was a gift for my son.

But thank you for the comments, I would say the same thing if I saw someone with an ID in a thirty gallon. :)
