this thread so far has really let me down, i was expecting to see those "japanese" style tanks with the crystal clear water and giant monster fish packed into a tank... but all i saw was what in my eyes, are normal setups where the owners who are so anal about fish and the "1 fish per 20 gallons " kind of rule that they consider it overstocked

Guess I'm one of those who always ovrstock their tanks...:screwy:

Mine are inspired by those japanese community keeping tanks.:)

well here it is, it may not look overstocked but I think it is. The residents are as follows;

1 - 5-6" blood parrot/red devil mix
1 - 5" rainbow shark
1 - 6" blue gourami
1 - 3" pearl gourami
4 - 4-5" clown loaches
3 - 3-4" yo yo loaches
4 - 1.5" red bay snooks
20-25 assorted mollies, platies, and swords
8-10 - 2-3" chinese algae eaters

and I'm sure there is something else that I just can't think of right now.

filtration is one magnum 350 with the "carbon container" filled with Ehfisubstrat. Monthly water changes of 15 gallons. 1 gallon of R/O water added weekly for evaporation. Co2 added by Nutrafin "Plant Grow Co2 System" with the brew changed every 2-3 weeks. lighting is 2 65 watt 10000k and 2 6500k lamps at twelve hours a day.

Water params tested weekly and are as follows:
ammonia and nitrite are zero, nitrates are 5 -10 ppm pH is a steady 6.8.
Your tank looks nice. Not overstocked to me

I think the real overstockers are afraid to post pics because of the overstock police....
