K 125gal
1 red devil
1 texas cichlid
1 green terror
2 male jack dempsey
1 female jack dempsey
1 mini jack dempsey that just won't grow and yes he eats

125 gallons - summed inches of full sized fish = 3*12 + 4*10 = 76" yeah take that 1" per 20 gallons.

Also I have yet to have a noticeably measured ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and everything is steaaaaaaaaady.

oh yeah and 2 snails and 4 rubber lipped plecos
(all fish 4 inches or smaller for now)

I'd like a catfish but have some salt in the tank. I'm thinking maybe saving my pennies and just WAZAM getting like a royal or a sailfin pleco. Or maybe like a pleco that looks like rubber lipped pleco that gets big... like larger then 5inches, less then a foot.

FX5 filtration probably will add another one start of 08
maybe depends if i get another tank

this thread so far has really let me down, i was expecting to see those "japanese" style tanks with the crystal clear water and giant monster fish packed into a tank... but all i saw was what in my eyes, are normal setups where the owners who are so anal about fish and the "1 fish per 20 gallons " kind of rule that they consider it overstocked

Here here, agreed!

90 gallon tank with two 18 inch yellow fin barbs (plus a few others) that belong in a 6 foot tank:

(which will come in the next year -150 gallon here I come :))

you can see the overstocked 65 underneath, that is crowded to make room for the giant barbs up top.

it was either that or find a new home for them, which I didn't want to do. I didn't want someone else to kill them..

This MFK and I must say that I believe that theres some tanks out there that could fill this Thead nicely. Come on guys.....

After reading this, I dont think I'm all that bad.

55 Gallon
2 Small clown Plecos
5 Clown Loaches (4-7 inches)
1 Flowerhorn 6-7 nches

I usually dont mention the clown loaches in my posts when I talk about the Flowerhorn or vice versa because of the overstock police. Everyone does fine and I have no issues. Oh, and I have a test kit but I'll be damned if I'm gonna use it!

Test kit......LOL. I once heard someone say, "If it works....well it works". Really its good just to know your water parameters. That knowledge may say save your fish one day. Not to say that you have never used it. Your test kit that is.

Repair!!! :headbang2

That tank is niiice for sure! I love that silversaum you've got, the devils, the beuts.. :nilly:

Big ups on a nice setup!!

If I manage to save an Aro that I am trying to save..I'll show you overstocked!!!

One of my 55g tanks. It's "lightly" stocked with 6 Discus, 15 Angels, 50+ Cardinals. All of them wild caught. Also sharing the tank are 3 small clown loaches.
