I've had him 2 years now, bought him at 4-5cm... Still unsure if he is pure dovii tbh, looked very odd as a baby, not even dovii like tbf.
Looks good now tho, small at 2 yrs but coming along like a slow roasted joint of beef!-)

What tank mates will he tolerate? Looks like he has a few. My male dovii is 12-14 inches and seems to kill for fun. He doesn't even tolerate my great dane walking by his tank! She is afraid of him.

He is fine with all fish over 2" tbh, probably all change soon.

Well I sold my dovii to a pal!-( figured it's best before he snaps, now in a 6*3*3 alone so that's good.
I have replaced him with a nice male Freddy, alot more likely to work out long term in the 300g.
Currently 5.5-6".
