Some nice jags in this thread. I wouldnt agree with us getting average quality specimens in oz greenterra had two of the best looking and large jags ive seen on here.

You could be right. I think you have to look hard and get them from a breeder or special order. The ones I see in the shops are generally shabby looking as they are all,crowded in a small tank nipping at each other with torn thins and stress colours. They also seem to sit there for months which makes sense as they don't look inviting to the average fishkeeper. I would be concerned they are stunted if I was going to buy one, I had the same issue with the geos I brought that had been in the shop for months, they never have grown to what I thought they would but have improved. I wouldn't want to take the chance with a fish that could live as long as a jag, would want to get the best quality possible and get my hands on it as young as possible.

I'm in Coburg. Was in geelong last week, dropped into a big pet/fish shop in Grovedale. Had some good stuff, noticed some decent small jags and dovi in there too.
thats crazy thats my local. I live a k down the road. You would have seen some of my fish in there. Lol I know paul who is the main fish man pretty well. They do get pretty good stock. Its where my stock come from. thats cool
 
Bump it up from the dead. How bout some updates on what everyone is housing for parachromis now a days
