Felt compelled to show my royal wanting to rasp my face off for removing his favorite hideout during a tank cleaning.

As you wish! Some more pics of him being ticked off at me for removing his favorite hiding place. Last month this fish got mauled! His dorsal, caudal & pecs were both severely chewed up like crowntail betta style all in one night by an L163 tankmate. Needless to say I seperated them immediately. Hard to believe how well the fins healed and so lightning fast. You can still see some damage on the tail in the second pic. The dorsal was split in places pretty much down to the body. Weird because the two fish got along fine for almost 5 months, then blammo! Last pic is what he looked like 2 years ago. Those neons could have swallowed him whole back then!
