Show your tiled tanks!

I hadn't ever seen tile bottom tanks before! Very nice looking tanks and neat thread!!!
 
If your worried about them moving or stuff getting underneath.why not use a lil silocone? Work to hold it up on back n sides also if your needs call for it.how bout making shelfs, tunnels, or hiding/covering your overflows also?

yeah i thought about that. but decided not to because moving a tank with tile is not fun.
 
Yeah! As if the big tanks don't weigh enough already! Personally I like black metallic paint every side but front.gonna try super flake metallic next tank. Sun or lights really make it sparkle just like my piranhas. The tile tanks all look nice!awesome work guys!
 
wow. am i the only one who dont find these aquarium tiles to be very nice? i actually prefer bare, sand and gravel bottoms compared to this. no offense to those who posted pics.
 
Oh my gosh.. I think I want tiled on my next big tank! Dark red, emerald green, or maybe even blue.. Black would be sweet too AHH lol
 
Great idea for a thread! I love when I come across a tank with a nice tile bottom. It makes me want to try it when I get a really big tank (>55 gallons).
