Hello MFK!
Longtime member here. I recently acquired a 200g aquarium from a local aquarium enthusiast from believe it or not... CRAIGSLIST, of all places. The retiring gentleman was moving with his wife to Florida, and I was able to get a great setup for cheap. In addition to the 200g tank itself, my seller also threw in assorted filtration equipment (Fluval, etc), lighting (Finnex), various plants, driftwood, and even a nice substrate.
After having my new setup cycle for 2 weeks, I decided it was finally time to build the dream setup I had envisioned as a young child-- I knew I wanted discus fish and possibly angels in the future. I did a ton of research online, and in the end I decided to purchase my discus from discus.com. They have a great selection of discus fish for sale, and their free shipping offer sealed the deal for me. I decided to go with large specimens, because I wanted fish with fully developed patterns. The fish arrived well-packed, and began eating within a day.
If anyone has good beefheart recipes they would like to share with me, please send me a private message, thanks!
Enjoy my pics. Feel free to comment on the color scheme I have chosen. I need more ideas for my next purchase!
