Thanks a lot. He gets a mix of Hikari bio-gold+, New Life Spectrum (I think 3mm sinking), Omega one shrimp pellets, and two others I can't remember

Thanks! The female actually laid eggs twice, but the male went belligerent and did not let her finish. There were no eggs left a day later.

No. flowerhorn is a hybrid, Trimac (the fish in my pics.) is a pure fish. One of the fish used to create FHs, from what I gather, was pure Trimac.
