shrew update!

so i transferred him from a critter keeper to my 29g that had a flowerhorn which i traded for a black ghost knife, hujeta, and albino senegal.

hes eating well and drinking too (from a shot glass anchored by a rock so he cant spill it or kick dirt into it)

hes eating mealworms, earthworms, spiders, beetles, slugs, etc...

i plan to get him a small bowl of seeds since they eat that too. also, i will be adding some easy-going non-toxic plants .

i just set this up like an hour ago!

hes very active and always up to something. he does most of his hunting above ground and has made a network or tunnels.

much rather have this little creature then an inactive lizard or a hamster, LOL

Looks awesome! Some questions. Does he utilise the items above ground like the driftwood and all?

hes more of a watch and observe type pet, although he is not as skittish as he used to be.

the driftwood is there for decorative purposes but also i plan to wrap vines around it.
the other purpose of the wood is to provide "shade" for when i get better lighting for the plants.
