Shrimp breeding tank.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
go with a 10g tank, sponge filter, java moss and basically any light.
cherries will hybridize with any neocardina type shrimp: snowball, blue pearls, rili, fire, painted, etc... they all are mutations of neocardina wilds which are brown.

So t8 lights are efficient??

substrate..co2, what else would you need...i have a sponge, and 2 small lights which came in the hood... and blue and orange gravel lol, as ashamed i am of saying that...its an old tank

Noob question: Why do people breed/keep shrimp? For pets or feeders? Looks good for both to me.. mmm shrimp cocktail

Mine are for show.

they make both good feeders and pets. i greatly enjoy my ghost shrimps, they are always having little ones i have one that has made it now to 1/2 inch and a bunch from 2 weeks back that are 3/8 long. i have a "natural" that includes planaria, nymphs etc. i can see the nymphs eating there share of little shrimp but was surprised by the comment that planaria will eat shrimp.
