Shrimp or Crayfush

I've got a 12g Eclipse tank that I'm torn between using for a colony of shirmp or crayfish. I know if I go with the blue crayfish that I can only have 1 in the tank due to its 5-6" size. You guys who keep both I need your suggestions.

Shrimp for me.

I've talked to a number of people who have done allenii crayfish (blue, white, orange) with cherry shrimp, they even sat and ate algae tabs together. This is not to say that it works every time.

i like crays better because you can actually watch them take on a nightcrawler thats bigger them they are (its like wrestling but the winner eats the looser )

You could go for the best of both worlds and keep a group of dwarf crayfish (Cambarellus sp.)!
