the male is probably 8'' and the female is like 7.5''. yes i have defrosted the shrimp and krill together, but still nothing. i have tried starving them, but i didn't go for a week more like 5 days (i love my bichirs too much!) so ya i guess ill just keep offering it lol. thanks
they have eaten a little bit but not a lot. oh does i matter what kind of shrimp it is?? mine is raw and it's gray (dont know if thats fresh or saltwater shrimp)

It's usually farmed saltwater shrimp. Make sure your shrimp has only been frozen once. Sometimes supermarkets will get frozen shrimp, defrost it, and sell it loose by the pound. You then take this home and freeze again. The entire process greatly diminishes freshness and nutritional content.

I don't know how much this helps, but you can try soaking overnight in the fridge w/ garlic extract. I usually cut the market shrimp frozen (or fish), soak it in Zoe Vitamin and garlic extract, and let it defrost overnight in the fridge.
