I just recently set up a quarantine tank for native fish. I added a largemouth that I caught. He appears very healthy and curious. Anyways, its been two days and he has yet to eat. There are a few feeders in the tank with him but he just seems uninterested most of the time. Is this normal behavior for a fish that was caught?(rod and hook, but very clean set on bottom lip) I would assume these fish have an adjusting period and I can see why they may not eat for a few days(sore mouthed or wary) This is my first native fish that I've introduced to an aquarium and I am very impressed with the intelligence it exhibits and interest he shows in humans. He will watch your every move and follow you around. Very excited about taking care of him and do not want him to starve to death! I'm sure he will come around but I just wanted to verify with you all. He is around 8-10 inches. Thanks for any information and input you may have in advance!
