In my expeierence rbps are only shy when there is a small amount. But when there is a big shaol they are extremely active just throw in a powerhead and ur rbps won't stop moving.
bayb p's generaly are skitish or newly introduces p's will be skitish, if just new to a tank there is no proven way to make them less skitish other then letting them grow up in the tank and get usto people walking by.
