From what I read I don't think she is in HS its her brother thats in HS and he is just in a driving class with him and worried about what he will say??
Anywho just be yourself, if your flirting with her, I assume she flirts back.... so obviously there is something about you of interest to her (unless of course she's just one of those girls who flirts with everyone). Don't worry or care about what others think or say, you will be a lot happier. If her brother does say something and she goes along with him, than she isn't worth your time the way I see it.
I was shy. My sophomore year I talked a smidge more with people as acquaintances in my junior year I made a few new friends and my senior year I had a lot of friends, but really its b/c we hung out at the arcade and car meets and stuff not because of school.. I was still pretty decently unsocial although I did talk more to random people.
Now I am a lot more social than I was. I dont regret who I was in highschool I still had fun, I didnt care to be social with everyone else anyways, I wasn't into what they a lot of them were.
Its really no big deal. Its just who you are, so be yourself. =]
