Siamese Tigerfish or Datnoid??

Nah over here, everything is just datnoids. People dont even know the differences between the species.

There were four monster datnoids around 14-16 inch. He said I had a choice of the four, so I took to the 2 pulchers. He didnt know there was a difference....

Hey steve, I've done a bit of research on the dats in australia(whether its legal or not to keep them) i've found it's legal if you have a proof of purchase or a copy of the breeders permits. They are ilegal to import and it's illegal to own imported dats. Then there's the price! their more expensive than saratoga's! 3"-4" $240-$280, 11" was $1200

Do you have any info that contradicts mine? prices you've found?

Mate the price is whatever the seller wants to sell them for.

They are quite rare.

The bottom line is, if you do not want to pay what the seller asks, then you just dont get it...there will always be someone out there that will pay $1000 + for a large datnoid.

Me being one ;)
