I had some wounds like this when i put two of my large males in a holding tank together but they were much worse.It only took a few minutes to happen. I looks like a side attack and maybe its inflamed a little. If you have all males you might have some territory issues going on

Ahh ok well it might be a battle wound then I guess...the other spots im seeing are not tho so I will just continue with my treatment and see how it goes I guess. Any thoughts on the other bumps. I know its hard to tell in the one pic of it...but I guess it looks like ick only bigger and only a spot or two. Almost looks like its growing out of the skin...not sitting on it like salt.
i have heard of and used melifix before but not the other so I googled it. The first link that came up is pretty interesting so I thought I would share.

I will see how they look when I get home in a few hours. I am assuming that I couldnt/shouldnt dose with the jungle tabs AND the melifix combo? The jungle tabs make the water foamy as is...and i remember that melifix doing the same....the bubbles are alreay trying to foam out the wetdry lol

Ok got some better shots...its a little bigger today...I really don't think its aggression. I know it kinda looks like that but I haven't seen any one chase him that aggressively and for that spot to be getting bigger with no other torn ripped fins or wounds....im just not feeling the aggression thing. He is not hiding, sitting nestled up in the corners, or acting strange at all...still swarms with the rest of the fish thinking its feeding time.
