Maracyn +maracyn-2 cocktail but remember this is just my best guess at this time

dissolve the meds in a small amount of water before adding to the tank-Anne

I went with API Products. These were expensive but I was desperate. Which one should I use?

Go with the Triple Sulfa since it mentions localized swelling which is what your plat has.

You might want to take back the general cure and get another few boxes of the triple sulfa because it only comes with 8 packets, and each packet treats 10 gallons of water, so one box is not enough to treat your tank.

I went with 75% T.C. Tetracycline™ Powder and 75% Triple Sulfa™ Powder mixed. I hope this combo will work or else I'll go down as one expensive lesson learned. I'm treating it separately in the 10g tank. The platinum was fighting the net pretty hard when I scooped him up.

Here is the best I can do with the picture. My camera cannot focus that good and I used the last bit of juice left on battery.

Oh duh, hospital tank lol I forget about that little computer tank you have.

I would put the smaller polli from the Kings tank in there too. If you check it's right side I noticed it got wounded, maybe bitten by the King, the Kolibas, or even the Dabola?

you've already started the full-spectrum treatment, but before that i would have suggested, since the damage appears to be localized, or at least locally presented, to try something more focused, such as putting neosporin on the reddened area. it likely would not hurt the condition, but it may have helped it heal up without the need for broad spectrum antibios.
you could still try this treatment with the fish now, it would just be tougher to figure out which treatment is working. polys are definitely a peculiar bunch when it comes to ailments IMO. i have had success with neosporin on localized damage/infection in the past though. good luck, and i'm sure the bichir will pull through!--
