strangest thing! i came home, he was still under his rock, laying on his side almost, so i decided to remove the rock to see what he would do. he came out and started acting like normal again! i have NO idea how to explain this but he came up to get food, fed him, and he's been responsive ever since. crossing my fingers, hopefully it will continue. crazy devil!

Both of my Midas have had bouts like that where they get extremely shy and withdrawn for some reason. They will almost lay on their sides trying to hide in some little crevice. They always come back from it though-- I don't know the cause! Sounds like yours may be out of the woods.

My Red Devil is acting up now. He's hardly eating at all. He's a finicky eater but now hes eating less of what he does eat. I recently moved the tank and had my water parameters go out of whack but everything is good now. Im hoping he is just adjusting to his new location and will get over it. He's digging a bit more than usual too. These Red Devils are moody arent they?
