Sick FH-Needs some help

First off-
I know nothing of this fish-
Friend called me up and asked me if I wanted a free FH-I said sure-This is what arrived to me-Needless to say-I took it and am up to seeing if I can get it back to par....
As far as I know it eats fine-But I have only had the fish for about an hour now-If that...

I'll let the speaks speak for themselves----Since I know nothing about it---But what would one suggest i do with it...How to treat-Any clue on what this is and what could have cause it by chance-

Any info would be great-

wow that looks unnatural I have no idea but the fish looks more like a barred midas than a hybrid from those pics
 
Doesn't look good my friend. Have you seen it crap yet? If not, see if it'll eat some peas.

Does it swim around well, or does it swim like what you would imagine as a drunk fish?

I know it doesn't look good-
I'm positive for a great outcome though....

It swims like a champ actually-----from the 20 mins I had to study it....It seemed fine-----Didn't seem to affect it in anyway that I could tell...

I have not seen it eat nor crap yet though.....The guy who dropped it off said it has been like this for awhile---

I'm thinking he just wanted to get rid of a sick fish personally-----But I'll try to do what I can for it anyhow--I could have refused to take it--But that wouldn't have been right...
 
Sounds like an internal parasite. I've used some geltec internal parasite medicine. It's meant for small fish that just eat the gel, so I soak pellets in it.

I wont/don't have access to anything like that-



Will any ole internal parasite med work-----My LFS doesn't carry much of a variety at all....
