Been doing that for about a week now-Seen no sign of improvement-
How long would you keep this up before resorting to meds?

I wouldn't wait more than a week - go to the lfs and see what they have.

any internal parasite med should do the trick, I just use that gel stuff. I can't really tell you why haha.

I picked the only product at my LFS-
It was a product called Praz-tastic----LOL....I guess some kind of knock off to prazi pro or something-It's highly rated though
