Does salt work for fin rot like it does for Ich? I've only ever used it for Ich so far, be good to know for the future. With most other maladies I've been using Pimafix/Melafix. Hit a hydra infestation with Fenbendazole once as well.

It does as salt stops the bacteria from latching further on the damaged skin and fins but you still have to watch your water parameters as poor water also contributes to the fraying of the fins.

Yeh. Water parameters are perfect and I recently got a new heater so temperature is now at 82.5. I am continuing the salt treatments. Thanks for the help all the time lupin.
