the tank is clearing up very nicely every fish is looking better and better one last question i took caves out of the tank so i could keep a eye on them any certion way i should clean it when i put it back in

If the caves have been out for a week or so and dried out completely any presence of Ich on them would have died.
If you wanted to be thorough you could (depending on what they are made of) boil them or maybe scrub them clean in strong salt water solution. Some people use bleach but you have to make sure it's all washed off before you put them back in your tank.
