I have a texas x synspilum and a convict that is sick. And now it looks like my parrot is too. They are staying at the bottom of the tank and the base of there finns are red and inflamed. i took my water to be tested and there where a few problems. the ph was too low and amonia was a bit high but i have fixed that now. what should I do to help the fish? how an i cure these fish? thanks

5x2x2 and water change one a week doing 20 pecent. ph is fine, ammonia fine everything is fine now.
one of the fish has red at the base of his fins and the base of his dorsal fin? any idea what it cud be?

These threads are also useless when someone says "my water is fine"

We NEED to know the exact water parameters. Very rarely is PH too low.

It sounds like your fish have septicemia, which is a bacterial infection in the blood stream. This needs to be treated ASAP or your fish WILL die.

Pictures, and param readings are a must. Also what is your filtration?
