Sick FISH!?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hmm...idk what to tell you about the test kit, but for the fish, i'd add a little bit of aquarium salt, and depending on temperature, maybe increase it a little. as long as the fish are still eating, it should pull through about anything, its when they refuse to eat that problems almost always end bad.

I tried the aquarium salt already....

I just dont understand why the bps are sort of on the ground and not moving.

shyess? i know my firemouths i used to have were never to outgoing, always hid whenever i came up to the tank, could be experiencing something similar with your BP's

I can understand shyness.. but I dont uderstand sort of leaning towards one side and tails touching gravel

Are you aggitating the waters surface with a spray bar? Maybe your oxygen levels are low.

umm no, i dont use a spray bar. However, I have been noticing that there looks like a film of white on the water surface and it looks like oil on water sort of

on all of my tanks there is that oiley film on the top of it. its not harmfull at all, but you should probably add some surface aggitation just incase thats the problem.

You've gotta get oxygen into the water, add the spray bar and aggitate the waters surface or add an air stone.
