Hi, Ive rescued 3 goldfish 2 days ago, they were in a very neglected of about 70L. One of them is much bigger then the others and hes sems healthy, hes active and eating, the only thing he has is a small growth on his lip. The other 2 arent look so well, they both smaller and both of them when they try to eat spit the food after 3 sec ,im pretty sure they arent really eating at all. In addition one of them has severe pop eye in both of his eyes. They are in my quarantine with a good filter and good water quality. I have kanaplex and a natural med called Voogle by easy life. What do you reccomend on doing? should i start treatment with these meds? Do you have other reccomended meds?
thank you

Would cont with clean water for a few days and see if things improve. Could be a stunted goldfish. Not much to do about it. Can try the kanamycin if not better.

It could be many things. The usual suspects of pop-eye are bacteria, parasites, water quality and malnutrition. Providing you got them out of a neglected tank, the trigger was the water quality and perhaps bad food. Most parasites and bacteria are environmental so the act of removing them from that bad water is a huge leap forward.

I'd start with some good amount of water changes and appropriate gold fish diet and see how it goes from there. Normally, if fish are very weak, meds can kill them so I'd start improving their immune system first. Plenty of water changes for now, then evaluate again in a weak.

They arent eating .. its been 6 days. theyr lethargic one of them is trying to eat but spit after. Theyr didnt got worse or better.. what do you think i should do?

What have you tried so far? Did you try a good amount of water changes?

Can you get a close up or a video perhaps. I know it would be hard in the tank they're in.

Are you using a cycled filter? Any water quality issues would not help.

im doing alot of WC since the day i took them. the filter is cycled and there were no amonnia /nitrit over 0. ive strted with the kanaplex and voogle treatment ,so far no improvment after 5 days.

Keep doing the water changes. They keep your fish alive while you figure out what else may work.
You mentioned them spitting food. There's good chance of protozoa or worms of some sort. After you do the full kanaplex treatment, I'd give them a break of a few days and then try to get hold of either levamisole or flubendazol, I'd prefer the latter but it maybe hard to find in some parts of the world.

Besides them not eating, can you describe any symptoms you might be seeing. Do they poop? What does the poop look like? Do they have a normal belly or a hollow belly? Do they appear skinny? Are they flicking, , etc..

In the mean time, can you get a hold of leaf litter(oak leaves, almond leaves), alder cones, 100% pure rooibos tea bags, etc... and put some in.

If there's light over, I'd suggest adding some floating plants like salvinia or amazon frogbit.
