Sick Jack Dempsey, HELP!

They didn't have that at my LFS!!! :irked:

All they had was this stuff by jungle called 'Lifeguard'. I removed the carbon and put the tablets in the tank thinking he would get better. Next morning I woke up and he was dead. :cry::cry::cry::cry:
What are the ingredients of this med? Be forewarned that adding treatments unnecessarily and unless you know the fish really needs it, those treatments will simply kill your fish faster than a health issue can.

I don't have much trust for "Lifeguard"; I don't believe in all-in-one meds that can cure anything and everything . . .

meds are risky enough as it is, and easy to mis-use . . . and I really don't like Lifguard because you cannot use it in a newly set-up quarantine tank; you have to treat the whole tank, or have a permanent q-tank . . .
