Just an update. turns out (even though my room temperature was above 75) the water temp was below 70. I think that was the main problem. I also found out my city water supply's pH is below 6. Unbelievable. a heater and some crushed coral fixed him. He is now as healthy as he ever was and has doubled in size since his illness. I'll post some pics of this beauty someday.

Wow! That's great news. I was just reading this and didn't notice the original post date. Glad to hear he recovered and is thriving! Jags are great fish.
I just tried. I will have to post pics tonight. The tank doesn't have a background, its kind of dividing the room. With my sky lights, its way too bright in here. all I get is a silhouette. And I really freaked him out, trying different angles.
I heard from so many sources that swim bladder disorder wasn't cureable, i was ready to give up on him and get another (or a GT). My wife convinced me to be more persistent.
