Sick Jag ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Boiled shelled peas...

as stated before feeding LFS feeders is not a good ideal, even if they look healthy. best diet for your jag is a good quality pellet, if you want to feed a protein treat ones a week or so I suggest super freeze dried krill soaked over night in boyds vita-chem,.
he may be digesting, I would not feed for a week or so, this is fine, they can go up to 3 weeks with out eating with out any health issues. IMHO as always.

He wouldn't eat any peas but I just got home and he had a couple of the plants ripped out from the rocks and was zipping back and forth stopped only to check me out. Thanks for the replies I thought he was a gonner. Yet again, I am a pretty poor photographer but ah well.

Salt helps, anti fungal meds in case the comets had some disease. i had my jag with some payaras and peacock bass in my grow out tank. introduced some protozoa with some feeders(payara ate feeder still ) in three days the 2- payara and 1-peacock bass where no more. even after medications etc, like their skin had lesions(water parameters and temp where fine). But my jag cichlid made i through, just didnt eat for a few days. so i say these guys are tanks, just help it out a bit.
