Sorry for late reply , I'm pretty certain its a bump/scratch from the new pics , give him a few days it'll start to heal , try to cut down on feeding so less mess is created and do WC every 7 days Imo

Seeing some improvement today!
Only slight but it seems to be less cloudy.
Keeping up dosage of melafix every day.
Lights are left off.
And will reduce feeding.
Will hold off on the water changes.

What is the current tank temperature? I would raise it to 86F, if possible add salt to the water, and daily 10-20% water changes.

I have an arowana that had the same thing happen but it was BOTH eyes at the same time. Remedied in a week and fully healed within two.

Tank temp is 84-85
Salt has been added.
However getting conflicting advice on water changes?

I have had to go away for work today, so I have left instructions with my parents on dosages and feeding etc.
Should I advise them other wise?
