flashing is uaually a sign of a parasite or bacterial issue. but if the others seem fine, that wouldnt make a lot of sense. and you dont want to dose it with the wron meds on a hunch.
you dodnt see any signs of ick?

Salt is always good as a first precaution. Maybe its just a little stress due to the changes in tankamtes. GL.

This is going to sound really strange,but after i did the water change,i added some salt,then i noticed that there was a missing piece vinyl on the bottom of the tank(the previous owner of the tank put stripes of vinyl under the bottom of the tank)i had noticed that this was the exact place where my Jar would "scratch his chin",so after i replaced the vinyl i sat and watched the jar for about an hour.He checked that spot out a few times but after a few hrs he seems ok again,really strange all the things he was doing have seemed to stop could it be that,that 1 little thing could have caused my Jar so much stress??

Im going to leave the lights on tonight just to see if any othe fish is bothering him,but i doubt it,he is the most aggressive fish in the tank.
