Mine is something similar. Except I used PVC pipe drilled witha bunch of holes instead of the mesh and connected pool vac hose to drain to my front yard. Also had two valves to hold water in the PVC so it's ready to drain each time. I'll try to post pics next time I use it to drain a tank.
