Agree with Tom. Make sure your water is tested and nitrates less than 20ppm.Not normal. It actually look like shedding slime coat.
What are your water parameters?
Also what type of substrate is that in the aquarium?
It is African cichlid substrate and he was like that when I got himNot normal. It actually look like shedding slime coat.

Ok I will, I did two water changes yesterday and should I transfer him to a hospital tank for a short time to medicate himShouldn’t look like that. Has some increased slimecoat and some mouth rot. Would add a dose paragaurd and make sure it eats. Keep the water clean.
Also what can I do to get his slime coat back to normalNot normal. It actually look like shedding slime coat.

+1 should correct itself.Sometimes this will happen if fish are introduced into a different aquarium and get stressed. Just give time and hopefully things will improve.
No need. Paragaurd is mild and shouldn’t mess with other fish or BB.Ok I will, I did two water changes yesterday and should I transfer him to a hospital tank for a short time to medicate him
Is melafix a good alternative, just in case my petsmart does not have paraguard+1 should correct itself.
