Sick S.Eupterus?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm sorry to hear about you Raphael catfish, im crossing my fingers for it. Yeh, having sick fish is pain, my front is having some feeding issues too..

Thanks bro! Hope both your fish get better too! I can see what some others are saying though, it may just be cuts or wounds. How is its behavior in comparison to normal?

I don't see ich. Ich appears as small, white crumbs, many of them, on body parts or entire body. Surely, you can google for ich and the images of it - it is pretty hard to confuse with any other common disease.

Also, I suggest familiarizing yourself with the "Freshwater Diseases and Health Issues" forum here (front page of forums) - http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/forum.php - lots and lots of info every fish-keeper would be prudent to know.

Looks like minor abrasions (from poor photos). If that's what they are - nothing much to worry about. If they never heal/change location, perhaps the catfish receives them in its cave/hiding spot. When/if it turns reddish/red = inflammation or a deep wound - that can be worrisome.

Thanks, ill read it :) Normaly i just keep by my Water change, feeding, cleaning Schedule and everything stays fine, but im very busy with school, so i might have missed some cleaning, or a Water change. Anyways thanks for the help. The only Pictures i found on Google was low quality, and based on that i made this thread. I since then saw some more Pictures and videoes, and i started having my own doubts.
