I usually raise the temp when treating a sick fish. Is this too high for a silver?

Most likely being in the bag for that long it was exposed to alot of ammonia which burns the gills. So raising the temp which lowers the oxygen content probably not a good thing.

Oh ic. I'll slowly lower it down to 80. I always thought that having tremendous surface agitation(power head and such pointed up) was the main way to oxygenate a tank. Didn't realize temp also affected outcome in regards to oxygen.
