That actually looks like a pretty fun project. If you have no electricity, try a squirt gun! Those plastic tube guns (kind of like a clam gun) make great manual sump-pumps.
lol good idea :D
i have 550' of cord now so that should work :D

weeell lol
didnt get far
few 100 footers worked
pumped out where your feet go but that was it
no other access hole to get inside to pump the rest :irked:

i did figure out picking up the boat + all the water in it was :screwy:
so this time i tied it off and pulled the drain plug
then i picked it up more and tied it off
now as i lift the water flows out lol
i got around a foot more this way

but this way isnt going to work lol
anyone have any ideas post them up
:irked:

this place has no boat ramp :screwy: no shore to drag it on :screwy:
nothing but sea walls and docks :screwy:

they do have a fork lift for lifting boats out of the water
thats how boats get in and out :screwy:
so i guess im going to setup an appointment with them to lift it out of the water so i can drain it
then put it back and see if it stays afloat
if it sinks it has a hole
if it doesnt it was the rain

bad part about the lift is its faaaar from the boat
so i gotta paddle this "still a bit sunk" boat all that way, then back
:nilly:
i gotta sit on the higher side too :grinno:
i just hope it doesnt sink before i get to the lift! :WHOA: :nilly:

heres todays pix
not much but its out of the water more
still tied up cus i gotta replace the plug

lol just don't say anything and take the camera out and start snapping away. lol

I used to know the formula for power loss over certain distances over cable broken down by gauges... Guess I need to break the textbooks out. But whatever you got it to work.

i think im meeting up with the lift operator tomorrow so tomorrow will be an adventure thats for sure :D

I had to help move a peddle boat that had a leak. Extremely heavy!!!! Took six large guys to move it. The seal for the top and bottom halves of the boat leaked. It was basically garbage because of that. It looked similar to yours.
