Sieve filter

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
One more note on these. I would not use this as sole mechanical. It’s great for particle filtration but there is zero polishing. I run a settle chamber as well.

Sorry for blowing up your thread millerkid519 millerkid519

No it' perfectly fine the more I know the better. How do you have your settlement chamber set up?

It’s an angled sheet of acrylic that makes a dead spot. It’s behind black acrylic or I would post a pic, sorry. Any area you can creat with minimal flow will act as a settling chamber.

Or you can run socks as well to polish and extend the time between cleanings significantly.

Thanks that gives me some ideas to go off of. I'm on the fence which would be the best way to filter my big project which is going to be an 875g pool. I'm set on my idea for bio just the mechanical side is getting my mind going. I want to make this as easy as possible to maintain.

Any idea on what type of screen this is. Think it would work on the big stuff.
Any cetus replacement screen at less than $200.00.
