The good news, they don't grow as big as sailfins and the various commons, so they can live in a 55gal for life. It may not grow much bigger than it is now.
Bad news, they are commercially bred, and not rare at all. So under $30 for sure. I got mine "Free to a good home" and that included his hollow log ornament.
