sigh.... woman driver.......

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lol I agree with the post above =)

Anyways thats still funny but how on earth do you not see that?? o__o durrr.

Its a very popular thing to do, make fun of women drivers based on individual accidents while in reality men cause 73% of fatal accidents and various other statistics on driving safety show that men are by far more aggressive while driving thus get into accidents much more. Insurance prices go to point that out as well, as insurance for women drivers is cheaper.

Yey sexism... wooo!..
it may be a very popular thing to do, but it's not necessarily incorrect... men may get into more fatal accidents, yes, but what is the cause of the accidents. my bet is on men trying to get around women talking on cell phones, putting on makeup, etc, and going 10 mph slower that the speed limit in the fast lane. men may make poor decisions when handling these situations, but when you constantly encounter them, you're bound to get a bit fed up.

i guess it's just a little hard for me to believe that men are the sole cause of their own accidents, when i have been in a grand total of 1 'accident' which entailed me sliding off the side of a snowy road into an open area (snow-covered grass) during my first winter as a licensed driver. and on top of that, two SUVs nearly slid off in the same spot seconds before i did.

on the other hand, my ex-gf has been in 4 accidents involving other vehicles, 3 of which were her fault, and nearly losing her license due to various speeding tickets (the only thing that saved her from losing it was taking a point reduction class). that's not including the numerous times she has rear-ended people, and not needed insurance to cover damages.

sex·ism
n.
Discrimination based on gender, especially discrimination against women.
Attitudes, conditions, or behaviors that promote stereotyping of social roles based on gender.

I hear they cant be in the work place because they bleed once a month and it makes them go crazy and stuff.

bad driver thats all it is. I ve been in 1 accident that was not my fualt and the guy that hit me was a male, some a**hole not paying attention. I was hitting my breaks to slow down to make a right hand turn off a main road to go to a fast food place and had my blinker on to state I was turning right. I wasnt on phone, I dont do make up in the car thats retarded, nothing. Out of nowhere this suv switches lanes from the middle lane to mine as I was getting ready to turn into the fast food place and the suv guns it (apparently not paying attention to the car getting ready to turn in front of him) trys to swtich lanes rear ends my left side smashes the tail light into the frame and then the fu*cker takes off. Didnt bother to see if me and my cuz was okay and we ended up facing the opposite direction to cuse at that point I had just started to turn the wheel to go in. (no I was not making a really slow turn either). Well I tried to turn around and get back on the road but its traffic hours so by the time I got my car facing the correct direction, there was to much traffic for me to fight through and he was waay gone, so I just park my car and wait 3 hours effin hours for the cop. =) I dont think its always the females fault that guys get in accdients I think its both females and males just have bad driving skills. I see guys talking on cell phones all the time =)

This is what the effer did (looked worse in person): First is a side pick my bumper was hanging off and my trunk is un-allgined I could fit my hand up to my knuckles in it w/out having to open it and the side light came out, also a dent behind the tire. The second one is my tail light and yes it is smashed into my frame :swear: I had a hook up that fix it for less than half the price it should have costs, that the arse of a mofo should have paid for. The last pic is my car now (trunk slightly unalligned but good and car is now 3 shades of same color :swear: )

i suppose that's true, it'd be nice if people weren't pre-judged on their insurance in general based on gender statistics. it'd be nice if the licensing policy in the US was like that of Germany. there it costs $1500-$2000 just to get your license, for which there is mandatory road and theory training totalling around 50 hours. beyond that, the actual driving regulations are very stiff as well, it is likely that you'll lose your license on a first dwi offence where the bac limit is .08, or .05 if you're in an accident. you can also lose your license for passing on the right, with only a couple of exceptions (ie - traffic jams).

people would be much less likely to take big risks when driving if the cost to obtain/re-obtain a license was significantly higher.

The reason they generalize is because based on the accident numbers guys are much more likely to race and speed, get behind the wheel while drunk, etc.. Same thing is done by ages, as younger kids are much likely to do stupid things while having less experience driving. Similarly if you get a two door sports car your insurance would be higher than a mini-van because chances of a person racing on a mini-van are very slim unlike a sports car.
Having similar laws to Germany would be awesome, having an Autobahn would be awesome too!

Actually a more recent study has shown that accidents resulting from women have had a lack of skid marks prior to the impact, meaning that women are so preoccupied that they dont even see the accident coming.

on AVERAGE women are technically worse drivers than men, fact. they dont have the same spatial awareness as men, and do not have the same perephial vision (and most women only look a few metres ahead of them instead of further forward and everywhere else, which is also a fact, and many dont have the same confidence. However, men are worse because they are cocky, arogant, and are more likely to take risks, speed etc on purpose, which is why they are more dangerous and have more fatalities. womens crashes are usually from manouvers from parking, or opening doors onto other cars, or going into the back of someone.
