In my case we bought and completely gutted the home and designed it around the 300 gallon in the living room. I ripped out galvanized steel plumbing and did it all in PEX and put in a gas tankless water heater. So it was easy to be in the hobby with the changes made.

I havent seen any action like what ive seen in youtube were the male consistanly chasing the female, they break apart when i get close to the tank, but last night during feeding, i saw the nigerian lap(male), ansorgii(male) following the dabola endli(female).

Called a plumber, the pipe burst but it looks like homeowners insurance will handle it. I mean whatever it's only money and stuff. Nothing important

Thought I would add this to the polys ready to spawn topic. My male Ansorgii has been flexing the anal fin and forming and holding it in a cup

Starts at an almost relaxed state, and then boing, lol

Then will 'inflate' and cup and hold this for a little while.

This has been done 'solo' at the moment and not directed at any other polys...
