Silly clown loach

Hey, today i bought my clown loach, who is really neat, but recently he has been swimming up the tank and then back down VERY quickly, do you think its stress from the new tank? all my other fish are fine (no erratic swimming, gasping etc.)

No, my loaches do that all the time. In fact, mine do that around feeding time, I always likened to begging.

They are social fish... he might be stressed out if he doesn't have any friends.

i have six of them and all six go up and down in the tank .they are the best fish ! i would never not have them in my tank

loaches will go nuts just before a front rain and low pressure comes in gooney fish .i have three 5 inch clowns also give them a whole peeled table shrimp they love it
