Silly mistakes, we've all made a few

2 huge mistakes ive made are

1 did a water change but forgot to turn the heater off.......bam cold water on a super hot glass so now needed a new heater bought one put it in and inadvertently fried some of the fish.....huge mistake the oscars and the plecs lived through the night !!!!strong guys they are

2. bought a blue tailed lobster / crayfish about 7or so inches.......big mistake the next day he went back to the fish shop, lucky tho that he didnt kill anything but damn did he try to

As for me, one of my dumb mistakes is on my first ever tank (first ever attempt at fish-keeping) I didnt do a water change for 6-7 months. The tank only recieved top ups and the only form on nitrate reduction was a small bunch of Anachris/Elodea that lasted 3-4 months before my clowns viewed it as food.

Why you gotta be mean, Mystix? Everyone makes mistakes, she was just honest about it. No reason to slam her, she already knows what she did wrong. :screwy:
 
i put a puffer with a neon.... lets just say the neons no more
 
Found out a schoal of white clouds were not good dithers for my pair of angels.They did draw the angels out,just long enough to eat them

I wasnt intentionally being cruel, its just an ironic joke that happens to be in her avatar.:chillpill: How is saying "Your avatar explains quite a bit" slamming her?:screwy:
 
I left the heater on in a tank while doing a water change and it shattered, all my fish died.
