Thanks for all the praise guys! It means alot. "Karl k" theres a 650gal sitting right next to the 450 for him, then a 1700 gal pool and im almost done building my 3200gal so this cat will be more than fine in the future, id let him eat every other fish i own if it came down to it. He is by far my favorite specimen. Always been a cat man tired and true

Been in the game a while now...this is as many as i can get in one frame, theres more lol...all joking aside, nowhere special, craigslist, and i cleaned out a lfs that closed over a couple yrs. Funny ive never got one from mfk tho lol. I let my buddy doubledragon have a 300 from the place that closed but im a sucker for acrylic so when they pop up i grab em immediatly and suffer the consequences later. 90% Of what i have was broken, old or in bad shape so i guess others turn them down. I built my 650 gal myself, build/weld all my own stands and always look for more lol... about outta room tho so ill share the next ones i find with our community.

Haha Thankyou! I like the way u think... i lived/slept down there for 2 yrs on a futon in the middle of the tanks...when my gf moved in i had to grow up a bit and finish the upstairs living room and rest of the house. Didnt even have cable or internet lol. Funny normal people who buy a home start with a couch and t.v. probably...not on MFK

That's an amazing pic, I wish I had room for that many monster tanks.....I try to keep my eyes open but I guess my side of Ohio just stinks for big tanks lol.

Long story short...this is my first home. Was a bachelor at the time and purchaced it 100% for my fish and the basement. I dont think i could get away with it again now that im older haha. And a bit of advice on tank hunting is.... the day you forget to look is the day u miss the deal of a life time lol always gotta be on ur toes.

Oh, it might have come out like i was implying you couldnt house it, wich it wasnt at all.

If you dont mind me derailing, what is the captivity size for these? And if possible the footprint of the pond

Im just a jokester man...no worries, i didnt take it that way lol. not sure on a captive size for these guys but like anything else if ur husbandry is top notch they have the potential to reach at or close to wild sizes.
