Just sat looking in my tank and my 8inch silver as taking 3 bites at my 13inch stingray and now he apeires to be stalking my ray as he gone mad ??? or are silvers normly like this ??

No most of the time silvers don't bother anything on the bottom. Especially a stingray, this is odd. Maybe he's hungry do you feed him enough?

As stated already, silvers are normally not very aggressive. There have been several, who have had very aggressive silvers such as yours seems to be. Not sure there is anything you can do other then separating your fish.

maybe urs is aggressive b/c most leave tankmates alone

My ray is always up and down glass. Its the first time the arrow as tried to bite him . Seems to be ok now maybe he just got pissed at the ray being all over tank

Most of my silvers have been very docile, but..... I've had one in the past that was down right evil. Just may be in your silver's personality to be nasty. Watch them carefully, feed the aro well and if behavior continues, separate them.

Tank Size? Mine was good with all fish except my Oxydoras and the oxy was the most peaceful in the tank but also the one closest to the arrow in size. The arrow would go out of his way to harass the Oxy by nipping at his dorsal and tail. Currently the Oxy is bigger than the arrow and returning the aggression. Needless to say a pond is in the works. It could be a territory thing. At least in my case that's my conclusion.

silvers don't usually bother other fish bigger then they are. i have a 5in ray with 2 25-28in silvers and they never even touch the little guy.

be careful the stingray might retaliate.
